Amy & Craig- Arlington, WI/The Wilderness Resort, Wisconsin Dells, WI

I met up with Amy a few weeks before the wedding to scope out her farm where we would be taking a lot of photos after her wedding ceremony at the church just down the road. I fell in love with her little farmette. There are so many great spots for photos- I couldn’t wait! I’ve been pretty lucky over the years to not have to deal with rainy wedding days and although it poured almost ALL DAY on Saturday, we managed just enough dry time to get the photos in at the farm. I think we were all thankful we didn’t have to do pictures indoors. You can’t beat a stormy sky over the Wisconsin countryside. I was more than happy to get a little wet and muddy venturing into the soybean field for some shots. Who knew soybeans grew so tall-I was in up to my armpits!! These two are so fun and all about family. And they have BIG families. I personally like a small wedding because I think it’s more intimate, only the nearest and dearest are there, but Amy and Craig proved to me that you can have a 500 person wedding and it can be just as personal and sweet as a small gathering. How lucky they are to have so many that love and support them. Thanks for having us and sharing your special day! Best wishes!!
