When I woke up in the morning I immediately sent Cindy a message that we would probably have to reschedule our shoot for the day. The sky was gray and rain was falling down. As the morning slipped away into the afternoon I got a text from Cindy. We decided to go for it anyway. What a gorgeous evening it turned out to be. The sky was the brightest blue to match their family’s color scheme. The sun was in its full glory, accompanied by some pretty strong wind gusts. Hair and dandelion fuzzes were flying. I had such a great time with this crew out in the park. These kids were so excited about sharing stories and jokes with me, I could have spent hours with them all. It ended up being a blue day, but in the happiest way possible.
