Jamie + Andrew | Heidel House Wedding | Green Lake, WI

This was the last wedding of 2018 for me. I didn’t expect to be outside in November, but we were and even though we were all shivering our butts off, it was so worth it and amazingly beautiful. I love that Jamie and Andrew just said, what the hell, let’s do it outside (even though it was only 26 degrees.) I think it’s actually a good parallel for how these two are. They just do what they want and are so true to themselves. I love that about them. I got emotional when they started walking back up the aisle after the ceremony, this song was playing (I don’t have any clue what song it was) and all these feelings about being young and in love and simply owning that fact and not backing away from anything hit me all at once and I had to take a minute to myself to cry it out. The love they have is intensely strong. I guess that’s what happens when you’ve known each other your whole lives and there isn’t a shadow of a doubt that you were made for each other. They are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family too. We really had a great time taking pics with their bridal party. To say we were cold is the understatement of the century, but everyone toughed it out and we did all the pics outside and even though we were screaming about the temps, it was in a happy giddy kind of way so no one was complaining. We took photos until the sun disappeared and it felt so good to get back inside and join the party that was already underway. The rest of the night was so fun and lively and it was one of those times were I didn’t feel like I was working, just getting to hang out with an awesome crew of people. Thank you so much for everything. You guys are truly special and getting to be a part of this chapter in your lives was such a freaking honor. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two! Much love!
