Growing up with a dad that always had a camera, my childhood (who am I kidding, my adulthood too) is pretty well documented. It’s so nice having photos to look back on but the problem with a family member always taking photos is that whoever is behind the camera isn’t in the shot. So I love when whole families get together for a shoot. No particular reason or occasion, just for photos of them all together- no one left out behind the lens. I’ve known Alicia forever since we grew up in Mt. Horeb together. I haven’t seen her since high school so it was so nice to catch up and see her and her family. They are all great. Really fun, laid back, super smiley and it’s clear they genuinely love the time spent together. Families like this make my job look like a cake walk. It’s the best when they just hang out and have fun and I get to snap away. No teeth pulling to get smiles. Also, Sophia is the cutest with that head of blonde curls, she’s a heart melter. Thanks for being flexible with having to reschedule and I’m so glad we were able to make it work while everyone was in town together. Can’t wait to send you all the photos!
