Rachel & Ian | Florian Park Conference and Event Center Wedding

The reason I write these blurbs that go along with a wedding album is because I’m trying to give you additional description of how the day looked, felt, and what the emotions were. With this wedding I’m having a hard time figuring out the best way to describe it. I keep coming back to a few words over and over again-pure, faithful, innocent. Rachel and Ian have an incredibly pure love. There’s just nothing complex about it, they love each other- plain and simple. The love they have for their families is so clear and inspiring as well. Rachel’s dad not only walked her down the aisle but served as the officiant. When your family “gives you away” but also brings you together, that’s something really special. Their ceremony was centered on family and faith. They are incredibly faithful. To each other, their family, their beliefs. Everything is centered on that and it keeps them grounded. They are so easy to be around, the day was one of the more laid back I can remember. Watching the two of them together you feel like you’re watching a first love. Remember how you felt when you first fell in love (or thought you were in love) as a kid? It’s all consuming and innocent. Everything revolves around that feeling and that connection. That’s what Rachel and Ian have. There were moments when I got those little butterflies that I felt when I had a first crush as I watched the two of them together. Ian seeing her for the first time, that they hugged when Rachel joined Ian at the end of the aisle or the look on Rachel’s face as she watched her husband dance with his mom. Just amazing the love they have. As sunset hour neared we went back outside for some photos. It was misty and not a ray of sunshine to be seen but the gloominess was cut but their happiness and the atmosphere gave all the photos this velvety feeling that I adore. I hope you enjoy this little preview of the day. I took the most photos I’ve ever taken at a wedding with these two and my job is cut out for me narrowing it down to the best of the best.
