Rae got in touch with me through a friend I grew up with. When she told me she and Bobby were having a small backyard wedding I was all in. Rae and Bobby decorated their backyard so incredibly for their ceremony spots. It was like Pinterest come to life. I’m such a fan of the intimate, non traditional type weddings. They’re so personal and just full of love and support in a unique way. They’re always the ones that tear at my heart strings and Rae and Bobby’s day was no different. It was the most leisurely and when it came to their ceremony there wasn’t a dry eye. The connection they have is so deep. Between the two of them but also with all those who were there to celebrate them. After they exchange vows and rings there were speeches from Rae’s mom, man of honor (her brother) and Bobby’s best man (his lifelong friend who’s more like a brother). To call them speeches doesn’t really do them justice. Each person more had like a sincere declaration of why Rae and Bobby are great people and how they are the perfect match together. I could never sum up what was said but can tell you that the words spoken about them had us all emotional, myself included, and I had only met them a couple hours before. It’s no wonder that when I went through the photos from the day I flagged WAY more than I thought I would for a wedding that only lasted a few hours. The pure joy on everyone’s faces made almost all the photos absolute keepers. Rae asked me at the end if her wedding was “okay” and if it “wasn’t too boring”. I responded with a “are you kidding me?!?” For me it will be a day I won’t soon forget. Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I’m so thankful for being invited in to witness love like this. It’s a rare thing in this world what you two have. So much freakin’ love to you, rockstars!
