We welcomed winter on Saturday. The wind was gusting and the air was freezing. Stephanie had her grandmother’s fur to keep her warm. She was stunning. From the flowers in her hair to her soft flowy dress, it was perfection. I told her that she is my new bride inspiration. We kept warm inside as long as possible before braving the streets of the Windy City to make it to the river. We didn’t last long out there but these two are so easy to photograph we didn’t need much time. They are the definition of easy going. I feel like I describe a lot of couples that way but these two really do take the cake in that category. I hardly had to direct them at all. Their natural interaction with each other was way better than anything I could have posed. They are incredibly sweet and gentle with one another. With everyone, actually. They are genuine people and genuinely in love. Their venue was super cool and twinkly and so warm with love and happiness. It was such a pleasure, wish we could do the whole day over again!
