We talked about wearing boots for the wedding because of the rain and soft ground. While the forecast changed to sun for Saturday, I was still wondering about how the property would be considering all the intense raid we had in the past month. Let me tell you, I was stunned at how beautiful everything was for Ali and Dan’s backyard wedding. They all did SO much work getting the place ready and it was absolutely stunning. Every detail was in place just right. It was by all accounts perfect. Dan didn’t get to see Ali before the ceremony (none of us did) and there was a collective gasp when she turned the corner. She looked so beautiful and Dan didn’t take his eyes off her from that point on. Their ceremony was officiated by Ali’s aunt and she said such kind things about the two of them. After the exchange of words and rings the party began. There was so much hugging and laughing and cheersing (I don’t think that’s a word 😊 ) all in the name of love. Ali and Dan are the definition of laid back and their whole celebration reflected that. The dinner tent was spectacular, I don’t think I’ve seen such beautiful place settings as they had, and the food was super delicious. Funny and heartfelt speeches had everyone laughing and Ali and Dan shared a first dance where they sang along with the lyrics whole-heartedly.
